Im disgusted about this situation... But I did get a good price on the bike, so I really shouldn't complain.
So, Im gonna send back the Akrapovic slip-on... and I just watched about 5 more youtube vids.... on the M4.
So, it looks like "my guy" did his cut about 3" after the o2 sensor... so the m4 uses a cut about 1" before the o2 sensor..
So I went head and ordered the M4, as by the time I buy a stock exhaust, and shipping off someone... or even Ebay, the price is
about the same as the Akrapovic and the new (OEM) and (shipping) to me.
Free shipping on the M4 through Amazon, 2nd day air. (prime)
I really dont like "LOUD, LOUD" bikes - especially my R3, Throaty and grumbly is fine... but not obnoxious...
So I am hoping the M4 won't be too loud, I plan to keep the baffle in. - But nothing will be as loud and as obnoxious as it is now.
Also, the bike has about 1500 miles on it.... do you think the engine may have suffered damage due to the lack of back pressure in that
amount of time ? I can only assume the worst and imagine the modification was probably done round 400 - 500 miles mark.
Aside from that I am looking forward to trying the bike out, Ordered the HID's already and the non passenger rear seat...
I may pick up the clip-ons... idk yet.
I still have my 2007 600 Katana... and I know the power won't compare.... but my Kat is a heavy beast....
