This also comes with the dealer offering the Kawasaki Ninja 300 SE for $3799...
I have been deciding all day over the $1000 price difference. but I will stay with the R3.
where are you located... my local dealer also dropped the price of the ninja 300 by $1000

im this close --> <-- on pulling the trigger on the ninja 300.. my only reservation on the ninja is the recalls on ECU and ABS brakes... all of which should be covered under warranty or recall repair

I live in San Diego California. The dealership in using is Fun Bike Center.

And i know what you mean. I lost sleep trying to think about that 1000.. Oh the things i can upgrade. but im gonna stick with the R3. Newer, slightly bigger, more power, better front end etc.. But the struggle is real.. Haha

but the things you dont have to upgrade... flush turn signals, slipper clutch,

for me the power is neither here nor there... if i wanted power.. id get a 600, which we could do with the money spent on the R3

1st gen might mean recalls just like the ninja

looking at some r25 videos it looks easier to work on however $1000 is all the upgrades i would want not being added onto a 5k bike

can i ask whats the difference in the front ends ?

OMG the struggle is real !!

haha

The front fork is bigger on the r3. If i remember correctly its 41mm vs 36mm or 38mm..? Dont quote me exact dimentions. Im at work and will look it up later as I am posting this from my phone.. Lol

And i believe it is brand. KYB..? Also the front brake is a brand brake. Dont remember which one.
I could be totally wrong. Im still new to the whole bike community.

I also called FBC and they gave me a quote for 6252. Not entirely OTD as we don't have any in stock yet, but I can put down my deposit. I wasn't sure but can I get them to put in writing to guaranty the price once I put my deposit in? I'm thinking of negotiating the 252 dollars to make it a flat 6k and work in the tires like someone brought up before.

Nice! Yeah I looked around at different dealers and asked what fees they charge. Most outfits do 599 for crate and assembly. The dealer I went to only charges 299 and the salesman said I can get some discounted accessories which we all know are a given haha
