LED Accent Lights Installed

I went ahead and installed some LED Accent lights since I work overnights and mainly ride in the dark. I'm thinking it should help me be more visible.

So according to this

Would that mean I can ride with red as long as it's not visible from the front ?

Usually cops don't care so much... or at least here. Don't do strobe. I'd say you're probably okay but honestly it depends on the cop probably

Not sure about the laws in FL, but in CA, you see cars with lights down under, so i am taking on the task myself. Plus i am interested myself in adding some visibility. Nice job.

There are no stupid questions, only stupid answer.

May I ask, where did you get the LED lights from? and was it easy to install?

I ordered them from Amazon since they were cheap and had same day delivery. They were very easy to install, just a Power and ground cable, I installed my own switch though. For the power I tapped into taillight or license plate light (can't remember at this moment) so they only turn on when the bike is on. The hardest part was deciding where to mount the strips and then routing the wires, they have a plug for each led strip so you can easily disconnect whenever you need/want to and they don't all have to be plugged in to work.

They have cheaper ones that come with less LED strips. I didn't have many options to choose from that offered same day delivery but have been happy with this one so far. Before this set I had the Oracle Motorcycle Kit and I think I had a defective unit as it wouldn't show the colors properly and 2 stops wouldn't even turn on, I also didn't like how the Oracle's LEDs were spaced really far apart so I returned them and got the Lexin ones with twice the LED strips for half the price. It seems like these cheap ones are all the same ones just rebranded. So far I've been happy with these ones, the only issue I've had is the remote stopped working once and I had to resync it to the "control box".
I hope that helps, if you have any other questions feel free to ask away.

Is that blue ? It's hard for me to tell.
I've only ridden with Blue a couple times and been nervous passing cops going the opposite direction but none of them turned around.

Yea I won't ever ride with it strobing, it hurst my eyes just looking at it when the bike is parked, I can only imagine how bad it would be for other drivers on the road.
