Nice. What kind of exhaust do you recommend. If I were to buy an exhaust I think a full exhaust would be better.
slip ons don't do much in changing the growl.

You're right, any slip-on won't do a LOT for sound volume or growl, that's because most of the muffling takes place down in the collector box under the bike. A full system gets rid of that box (and the catalytic converter that's inside it) and makes a big difference in sound.

It's all personal preference and also depends on your local law enforcement of loud pipes. Lots of forum members put Akrapovic and Yoshimura slip-ons or full systems on their R3s. Here's the Akra full system sound test by forum member jbluetooth

If you want an inexpensive GP style exhaust slip-on, the Devil D5M is a nice one

Installed devil evolution d5m slip on

It's on eBay now for $302 shipped Express from Thailand (but Devil is a French Company, been around along time)

Just put exhaust in the search box and check out some of the posts/threads listed

I was thinking, throw some Conti TKC-80 knobbies on it and hit the dirt fire roads with it. All four wheels appear to be steerable and leanable, maybe linked.

Power slides on the tight curves.....

Check out the Graves Hexagonal slip-on, too. Good price on Revzilla

I might have to buy another R3 just for that, reverse dual sport.
It's light enough. I was planning on buying a spare frame 'n swing arm just to hang on my wall till I find a crashed R3 or do something custom.

A 5.5" wheel is available. They also have a 5" one.

5.5" Rear Wheel for R3

Plus, there are these very pricey, Blingy ones available

Haven't seen any others so far.
