Finally installed my watsen design turn signals. Now the white isn't exact but it's close enough where it doesn't bother. Also, since these aren't R3 specific and are universal fz style they aren't a true flush mount. More on that later. The difference in brightness compared to the generic clear signals is night and day. See next post.
First pic is before and second pic are the watsen. Last pic is when they were making specific model flush mounts. As you can see they fill the whole area. These are all cellphone pics
I will try to upload from my digital and also post a video as well tomorrow. These were well worth the wait.
Sweet, can't wait for video
Can you also give us some info on how to order from them when they open ordering.
Are those Universal FZ or the Yamaha FZ-09/07 ?
March 5th is when he is accepting more orders. You pretty much add to the cart which signal you are looking to get. In the comment section I requested the triumph ghost white and the Yamaha wire adapter without a resistor since I have a relay. No money is exchanged until your order is made then you will receive a PayPal invoice.
I ordered the universal fz style. I went ahead and asked Roger what was the difference between the universal and the fz 09 and here was his response:
" The signal itself is the same. The fz09 is juiced up a bit more so it may be a bit brighter, and the backing plates, appropriate resistors and Yamaha connectors are included."
You will have mask the led portion and paint them yourself if you want silver. Hopefully color rite will come out with the proper silver. All you peeps with the blue and silver should email them and maybe they will come through.
I'm really glad you posted these, I've wanted to get rid of my gigantic stock ones (dont mind the rear ones, but up front they look silly) but ive had concerns over the visibility of some of the flushmounts.
Just a reminder to people interested. After the ordering process opens back up and you place your order it will take awhile for you to receive them so you have to be patient. However it is well worth the wait as you can see.
Got these listed in the classified forum folks. Get them while u can. Very high quality.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
