1. - Until they actually buy a bike and start riding... they don't get to run their mouth.

2. - You will never get rid of your chicken strips. Don't worry about it.

3. - TRUE! Once you do the "big bike thing", you will appreciate the R3 more.

AND.... just so you know.... they are not really "chicken strips".

They are: CRASH PREVENTION strips!

If you erase your "chicken strips" completely on public roads, you will be in the hospital.

I've spent most of my money on women, motorcycles, and beer.
The rest of it I just wasted.

I agree whole heartedly he shouldn't be riding like that on public roads, but it isn't that difficult to get a motorcycle down that far, even with proper riding position.

Just to clarify gents, nobody said anything about riding like a hooligan on public streets. I said I have tracks and training available to me locally and until I'm able to consistently and effectively ride my R3 to its limits, it makes little sense to upgrade.

I'm hoping someone will release a streetfighter, or naked, conversion kit for the R3. It would be a fun little project.

Just take all your fairings off your R3.

Theres a pretty good chance that you could do that and the MT bits and pieces would fit. They're essentially the same bike.
