Good analogy.
"Power" is intoxicating, in all it's many forms. Once you get the chance to ride a powerful sportbike, it opens your eyes to new experiences. I have a Fireblade. I know the feeling all too well. The R3 and a literbike are really at the opposite ends of the same thing. The R3 is fun for different reasons. A literbike is fun for different reasons. R3 is small and light. A literbike is stupid powerful. Two different animals. Both fun in their own way.

Enjoy the FZ-09. They are cocky little street-fighters.
Once you ride it for awhile, you will learn the suspension on the FZ-09 is $hit.
The engine overpowers the suspension, especially in the twisties on less-than-perfect road surfaces.
People buy an FZ-09 for the engine.

Thanks guys, loving the bike. Hope to keep it in my stable for a long time. Still excited for the future release of the FZ-03, I think it would complement the 09 nicely.
