1975 RD-250B and a 1985 FZ-750. The latter is shown with a matching tail bag. Both bought new and kept each for 10 years.

Actually one of my favorites bikes was my 1992 Yamaha FZR600 in black with the butt ugly teal/pink stripes which I painstakingly removed. Added a Vances & Hines exhaust and Progressive shock and a purple windscreen, and she served me righteously for about 10 years. 23,000 miles thereabouts. That was my bike from 1994-2004 and went with me in the Army to Colorado but not Ft Knox, which was basic. Used to rip it on 115 in Colorado Springs and I-25 and I-70 from the Springs to Denver and toward a little place called Aspen where the beer flows like wine and the women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano.

Then went to my 2003 Honda CBR 600RR from 2004 until now. Another decade long plus bike. 11 years exactly. And then picked up the R3 in November a week after I sold my CBR, and love it.

Always been a Yamaha and Honda guy. Had a YZ125 for a bit when I was a teenager in late 80's and early 90's. Forgot the year though. Like an 88 or 89.
