Just thinking of feeling the loss of weight on your front as you pass the crest worries me.. and all this while leaned over and finishing the turn.

That sounds fun! Sounds like T2 at NJMP and T13 at Road America. Pretty much full throttle at the top of 4th gear (or 5th depending on gearing), as you crest over at full lean and as the front end gets light you can finally see the exit of the turn. I love both of those turns!

I’ve been in contact with the lead instructor of the course, and after hearing of my experience/expectations, he’s recommending that I try out the novice track group instead of the road rider course.

They the only two things they require of which I don’t have are gauntlet gloves and a back protector.

I wonder what my chances of borrowing either of these from someone there would be..
I have a back protector you could buy off me for $60 (Dainese wave, should fit M/L). Not sure on your gloves size, but if small/medium, you are welcome to take my spare gloves if they fit (free), they are a bit old but not used much at all and offer great protection.
Thanks for the offer Doc, but unfortunately I’m L/ Xl.

I’m watching the bayarearidersforum but I’ll probably just buy what I need.
