ABS Wheels on a Non-ABS bike

Just as the title states "ABS Wheels on a Non-ABS bike". Other than what looks to be an ABS sensor ring on the ABS wheel, would it be an issue installing these wheels on a bike that did not have ABS?

Not looking to magically gain the ABS function on my bike lol, but more just wanted to change the color of the wheels and they happen to be wheels from an ABS model.

Nope. You can also take the ABS ring off.

I don't like ABS. I am selling my R25 which does not have ABS and grabbing another R3 which does have ABS. I intend on disabling the ABS but heard that if I do I may lose my speedo. If you plan on selling your ring, let me know how much you want it for shipped to a military FPO 96683.

Just to give you an idea how the wheel components are assembled. Here is a schematic for a 2017 R3 ABS, showing the rear wheel and components including the ABS sensor. The front wheel schematic is on the left of the page, along with the rest of the bike.

I wont likely be buying the entire wheels, just the front and reat cast itself, all of the other parts will then be transferred over. The ABS ring is fairly cheap, about $15 on RevZilla, or my favorite spot Rancho Cucamonga Yamaha (yocracing.com) stocks the item for about $8.
