Turn signal falls out of the fender??

So last year I dropped my bike on the left side and now sometimes while riding on rough roads the left turn signal will fall out of its casing and it’ll just dangle there... lol like it still works totally fine though. I’m going to safety the bike this week to resell but I gotta fix this first I assume. How do I do it? Any tips?

In the absence of any knowledge of exactly which broken piece is responsible for that happening ... Replace broken parts.

Bigger version? Take it apart, identify which piece(s) is/are broken, buy new replacements from your friendly local Yamaha dealer, re-assemble.

Hard to give more detail, without getting more detail.

Without knowing what year you have, I have a 2018 model linked. It's a schematic, parts numbers, and cost of parts in the turn signals. The parts numbers will be good at any vendor you choose, including your Yamaha dealer. But GoFaster pretty much nailed it. You'll need to disassemble part of the body panels to see exactly what's amiss before you know how to correct the problem. Maybe the diagram will help you see what you're looking for.

To ride or not to ride? What a stupid question! ... Anon

Without looking at it, I'd guess the hard plastic bit that fits into the rubber "boot" of the signal is missing.

In the diagram linked above, it's part 18, Flasher Stay. If that's missing, you can stick the signal back into it's space, but it won't stay when riding.
