What up

Hey guys/gals, glad to be here, obviously not very creative with names. Just hoping to find some of the best cheaper mods for an R3.

Welcome to the forum. Lots of info on here. In case you need help getting started, go towards the bottom of the page to "Forum Jump"/ "Search Forum" to see how the topics are organized. Click on what you like and read past discussions until your heart's content. Gather enough info to see what hasn't been beat to death, then you'll have an idea how to direct your next question. Enjoy.

To ride or not to ride? What a stupid question! ... Anon

Welcome! I'm not a fan of dumping hella money into the R3 either but the things I do get I don't compromise based on price. Steer clear of Chinese control items (levers, rearset, clip ons) and you should be good to go.

Thanks for the advice. I'll try my best not to ask redundant questions.

Yea this isn't my first bike but it is my first 300. I know to stay away from the cheap stuff. It's more like the tricks where people are doing sv650 rear shock swaps and ZX6 fork swaps and using the rim to get dual disks. Dont know of I'll ever do fuel disk but we'll see.

Gotcha. In that case the ninja 650r rear shock might be of interest.
