Tailbag advice

I want to get a large tailbag, preferably one that can fit a full face helmet, like the Nelson Rigg CL-1060ST. The dimensions are 12" wide and 14" long. But the R3's rear seat tapers so much it's almost like a triangle. Can a larger bag be mounted to the seat?

I don't Givi makes the hardware to mount a top case to the R3. Even if they did, I can't afford all that right now.
