1 tooth sprocket...

I know there has been some discussion about this, but what I am after is -
Has anybody actually tried a 15 tooth front sprocket, and, if so, how did they like the result?

Isn't 6th gear already cutting it close with the power (27 whp) we have @ 7500 rpm / 70 mph? There's no way I'd want to slash 1st gear torque by 7.1% personally. A +3 rear sprocket (46 tooth) could be interesting though! I find myself using 5th gear a lot on the freeway so far.
I run +1, -2 gearing on my CBR250R commuter. If I were going to use my R3 for commuting, I would want longer gearing to get the revs down. I would probably go front and rear to get 15% longer. If you come to a hill or want to pass, that's what the shifter is for.

Did you say you averaged like 45 mph though?
80% of my 40 mile each way commute is 65-70 mph on the super highway.
