Wow. There is a dude who posted a thread about his R3 getting nearly stolen-they gacked his ignition cylinder and luckily broke their saw/tol on his lock so they didn't make off with it. He wanted to replace the lock with a cheaper aftermarket solution rather than OEM but I told him he would either have to redo his fuel tank lock and helmet lock or carry his old key as a second set to be able to refuel and lock his helmet and get to under seat cowl area which isn't ideal.
