Any advice for a 300lb rider?
I have adjusted the preload on the rear shock to 5.
Pre-load adjusters have been fitted to the forks, and have been set to the
second highest pre-load setting.
I'm considering changing the fork oil weight from 10 to 15?

You need dramatically stiffer springs front and rear. And also by virtue of the demands placed on said shock, you require a proper shock instead of the OEM cheap piece of xxxx. Was there a sticky thread that listed all of them? If not, probably should start one...

What climate are you in? A 30cST oil will probably work. Once you put a decent shock on the bike, I expect oil and springs for the front will no longer cut it.

Actually my boyfriend weighs 300lb. I weigh more like 220lb.
The problem is he wants to ride something light and nimble.
His regular ride, apart from me is a Suzuki Burgman 650,
which can take all he has got without any suspension mods.
I'm going to tell him to keep off my R3
