Once you have the kit you can buy replacement Tsubaki 415 SHT chains as needed here:

Much cheaper than the DID chain ($52.95 vs. $90.00) and they have a tensile strength of 5,280 vs only 4,540 for the DID chain.
Good catch! The shorter pitch/link length, pin to pin, of 415 chains would mean the Tsubaki would be too short. Those Tsubaki chains are only 120 link unfortunately, so you need 2 of them to fit the R3.
I know it's an old thread, but was searching around to find out the size (wasn't sure if it's a 29 or 30) and I'm realizing the same thing now. Who the **** uses a 29 mm nut?? My set of larger sockets doesn't come with that. I have some individuals I bought before, around that size but no 29! Now I gotta make the trip to the store too lolStarted my conversion tonight and realized I don't have a 29mm socket (got a 27 and 30 - nope, so tried a 1-1/8", but not quite there), so looks like tomorrow I'll make a trip to the tool-type store place and add to my tool empire. I also noted the stock chain is non-master link - good thing I had my trusty angle grinder and chain-breaker. Happy to post photos if someone wants.
