wondering if anyone has done it. as I mentioned in oil thread. 10W40 gets a little too hot in my country so running 15W 50 now. but fuel usage is nutso. if I get a oil cooler can run 10W40 all day long. plus it keeps oil happy too!

I bet you live in Australia?

Fit the K&N 148 oil filter.
It is noticeably larger than stock and presents a larger surface area for better heat exchange.
The filter probably increases total oil volume by 50-100ml.

This is what I have done for FNQ conditions.

I run a full synthetic 5W40 even in extreme heat conditions. The radiator fan only kicks in around
town. Take a look at using a premium grade extreme condition radiator coolant. I change my coolant before every summer on my bikes and cars. I only use a middle grade coolant otherwise the cost would be excessive and anyway it gets changed every year which is more than most people do. Also consider getting a "racing" cooling system hose kit once the bike is a few years old.

This motorcycle was designed for Indonesian summers!
One benefit of riding a motorcyle manufactured in a third world country is that it can
cope with extreme conditions like massive overloading, poor roads and hellish summers.

Where do you get K&N oil filters from bro?
Id even buy an air filter as well. If you have a hookup
I still want to know if someone has done an oil cooler before. as I will track it etc. and I want coolISH oil

also I run Evans waterless coolant. so I have no issues there. I rode my bike in 43 degree Celsius temps. and it was flawless. that is why I run the 15W50 in summertime. as once any oil get really hot in those temps it will drop to a 45 or even 40 grade oil (it returns to 50 when it cools down if it is an oil that wont shear like the one I have)
