Blinker/Indicator (L/R) integrated in the Mirrors?

Hey Riders :)

I hate that ugly Blinkers at the R3...
It Looks so unsexy at the side of the Body...
So i was thinking of buying some new Mirrors with integrated
Blinker. Is Blinker the right word? Ist the Thing which shows left and right turn.
The R1 has them. Is there any Chance of getting them for the R3?


EDIT: Would it work if i buy the R1 Mirrors and use them for the R3?
Don't know how it Looks like....


EDIT: Asked my Dealer. He said that the Position of the Screws are different or something liek that.
The Position is not exactly the same.

They all would work but they are shorter than the stock mirrors, so you wouldn't be able to see ANYTHING behind you.

A Forum member bought some and said they are a "No Go".
Yes, R1 mirrors have a different base mount and won't fit on the R3, Same problem with the R6 mirrors.

I have a buddy that put some of the eBay integrated turn signal mirrors on his ninja, and they were cheap junk. The first set, one of the mirrors fell out of the mirror housing while he was riding. They sent him a new set for free, but those were the same junk as the first set. They were just cheaply made.

Could maybe use some LED strips if your state is lenient on blinker requirements. Throw a relay flasher on them or a high wattage 10 ohm resistor in parallel (recommend the flasher over that).

Just google 12V led strips motorcycle and you'll find what I'm talking about. I'd post a link but I don't have enough posts yet.

I've heard the same thing... The eBay ones are cheap crap.
I'll wait for a part-out, buy someone's mirrors and use them as a project to see what I can accomplish on my own.

I went down this route. Didn't take long at all. Picked up some strips from Amazon and slapped them on under 30mins but mind you I had the wiring already figured out due to a prior project. Pics already posted in the forum somewhere - let me now if you wanna link!
