Hello guys does anybody else have the same problem when you connect to the ECU with OBD.
since a month ago I changed my engine oil from 20-50 to 10-40 and my r3has been giving problems with power loss. my r3 also dies on idle and I have done almost everything to solve that but it does not work and we don't have a Yamaha workshop in my pace. SO anybody with some tips to help me would be really helpful, I don't want to throw my R3 away.
no mods and its 5000 KM only.

What does your owners manual say is the recommended oil?

OBD will only help if you have a check engine light.

I did add the recommended oil also. 2.2L I was using motul 20-50 7100 and then on 5000km service I changed to motl 10-40 7100 and then I started experiencing powerloss. one mechanic also changed settings with the o2 screws and now it dies even faster than before. I think I would hence forth diagnose it myself.

The O2 screws? What are you talking about? Do you mean the throttle body screws?

Changing oil shouldn't cause any issues, unless you've been running a massively wrong oil for a pretty good amount of mile/time. 5000km is not that long.

The issue is probably whatever your "mechanic" did and you should take it back to them and have them fix it.
