I made this cheat sheet of the bolts I most encounter during general and emergency maintenance when working on my bike for race weekends, track days, and general maintenance.

If there is something you think is missing I can add it to the sheet. I keep a copy taped up in my tool box so I don't have to refer to the service manual all the time.

Best to print it up in landscape mode.

If you click on the File tab you can download it in .pdf, or other formats. I couldn't make it a .jpg since I did it in google docs.

Okay, I just downloaded it as a PDF. That works. Thanks again!
Thanks for this. Comes in very handy!

I have one from Tekton. Got it from Amazon and works pretty well. Got it for around $38

You can spend a pretty hefty amount on a torque wrench. I have heard the Harbor Freight are not to bad. Biggest thing is to take care of it. Don't let it fall on the floor.

I found my torque wrenches on eBay.
I couldn't find a nice quality small torque wrench with inch-pounds like my dad has in his tool set. Where??

The only click type torque wrenches that you can trust have to be very good quality and can be expensive.
I have had 2 Craftsman beam type ones (1/4" and 3/8") for over 30 years.
I tested them once and the errors were less than 5%. That's good enough for the girls I dance with. :D
I have a Matco 3/8", and Mac 1/4" and 1/2". I picked them all up on eBay. 1/4" is what you want for inch/lbs. A torque wrench gives the most accurate reading when it is in the middle of it's range. So, while I could do 10 ft/lb with my 3/8" wrench, I always use my 1/4" because 10 ft/lbs falls more in the middle of the 1/4" range. It is on the bottom of the range for the 3/8".

I do have to admit though, I am a tool snob. I prefer the higher end tools when I can get them. If I didn't have a choice though, I would pick up a harbor freight 1/4" if I absolutely needed a torque wrench and couldn't find one for a decent price. Like I said, I have heard they can be pretty accurate for what they are.

This is a search for used torque wrenches on eBay

Thanks I will check Craftsman again. Price isn't an issue -- just that my 20 minute online search gave me nothing but larger ft-lb models.
I just printed one out and framed it to a wall here at the shop :) Thank you!

If you can afford it get a SnapOn. for 20-100 lb-ft the others will do but for anything low torque I wouldn't trust anything else.
