I finished white lettering my tires, removed my reflectors and shortened the rear fender.

The white lettering loox really good against that red stripe on the rim.
What did you use to white it out, and does that product last?
Thank you. I used Dupli-Color Hot Tires paint pen. It doesn't look like it will last long, which I don't mind. It already faded from a bright white to a dull white, but I like the dull white also. Pen costs $10, I got it at an O'reily's, but found it hard to find. You need to make sure you have Acetone to wipe off mistakes. The rear were easier because of the letter size.
Here's another possible tire treatment. You'd need a lot of patience to do it and it might not last long, though......

x2, I rather keep them in their original form, but that's just me, never been the type of person to consider changing that area in the ways talked about here.
For those who DO like the painted grooves, here's a video on a product specifically made for the purpose. They also make a reflective paint version.

I can aprecciate people have their own taste of styling. Reflective paint might be a good idea if you're talking about safety though.
You may want to be careful in corners with the red paint in your tire grooves: the paint sticks are probably oil or wax based, and will eventualy migrate out onto the contact patch when the tires heat up. Just a word of warning...
