I hope you are okay. I could be wrong but that looks like the water pump so almost certainly coolant.

Also. I would not expect oil to dry out like that. If it was oil I would expect it to stay liquid and stick to the bike. It looks like dried out antifreeze to me.

Thank you. I am ok very minor scratches on my right elbow and knee. Even with my leathers and kevlar pants. although Helmet wont be used again.
I have checked it again and found out that my frame slider is next to a tubing that goes down where the leak is. Must jave been bent or something coz my slider is bent and took all the beating.

Went for a long ride on the twsties again yesterday and noticed i got more of this blue leak when i got home. Its on my right side fairing and just at the back of my front fender. Have sent it to yamaha last week said it was all ok. will my engine blow if I ran out of coolant? and afriad this is quite sleepery stuff and can cause accidents.

As mentioned, it appears you have a coolant leak at the hose/water pump connection. Chances are, it isn't going to stop by itself so hopefully you can get hose replaced under warranty when you go to dealer. If it is determined that the lowside damaged it, then just get a new hose ordered - $10 part. Or just try adding a hose clamp.

Keep an eye on your temp gauge if concerned about loss of coolant - 3 or 4 bars, OK, 5 bars not so good. And, coolant on tires is no bueno and can easily lead to unfortunate consequences. That's why coolant is not allowed at most tracks, makes things all slippery and stuff when it ends up on the pavement...

do you have any pictures of your crash? I just want to see how frame sliders will hold up in a low slide crash.

Thank you.
Every single crash will vary. I will say if there is a chance of your pick snagging on somethings, expect a snapped puck bolt. If you somehow low side in a straight and the bike can slide forward and not snag on gravel or grass, you can have the bike slide longer and possibly not snap the bolt. I have snapped my sliders bolts in every single low side I have been in, on the track and on the street.

Crashed on the twisties today, lowsided and dropped on my right side. frame sliders pretty much saved my bike. obtained scratches on my exhaust and a bit on front fairing and side mirror. However when I got home to asses damage, I saw this. ??? Is this oil or coolant?
I know this is an old thread but suprisingly enough this is a common issue and Yamaha has issued a recall for this. They will replace the hose.
Heck, maybe that is what cause you to crash in the first place.
