Hello All,

The other day because of a guy park beside me. I had scrached my exaust :( Any idea how can i remove it or paint it with something to make it seems like original.
I have tried to clean it with sponge but it didn't worked. Still likes in the photo.

That exhaust is road rashed. It needs to be removed, sanded smooth, and repainted with flat exhaust paint.

Or buy a new exhaust can.

Looks to me like someone left paint ON the exhaust instead of scratched paint off. There is no red/rust color on the stock exhaust. Mine came scratched to the bare metal. Black or silver are the only two colors there. I'd try Goof Off or some similar solvent first. Not sure what is available in your area.

Edit: I see some scratches below the red marks. Not sure if those will clean up. There is a clamp and maybe a bolt or two holding the muffler on. Fairly easy to remove if you have the tools.

What you said is make sense :) I will use a similiar solvent and let you know the result. And you are also right there is another scratch under the red paint :(

You can paint it with VHT but I say this is a perfect excuse to get a new exhaust!
This is what I did and it looks SO much better!

I scratched the grey part since I park it in my garage very close to the wall (small garage in my apartments) so I'll have room to walk by to get to my car. I didn't like the silver part on the end of the exhaust anyway so I sprayed the entire exhaust with the wrinkle black VHT paint.

Here is a pic I found on the internet of a Subaru STi exhuast tip.

I'm going to redo my exhaust and I'll post pics since I had some smooth spots that didn't wrinkle. I'm going to do that when I get home after work and then I will post them when I'm finished. :)

^ the pressure is on! lol I'll post in a second once I bring it down there to out on the bike. I REALLY want to strip the paint and redo it since it feel off my mount when it was drying while I was away and smudged the paint. I tried my best to fix it the best I could without stripping it.

That is going to look great. Excellent solution for repairs and an aesthetic improvement at the same time.

I'm going to redo the top near the bolt so it doesn't look scratched like that anymore.

I think it looks so much better like this compared to the silver tip and the black was starting to look dull/fade since I have over 8k on my R3 :)

I tried to look up shipping rates to Turkey only to find out that specifically you can't mail Viagra via FedEx (to Turkey). I'm assuming this has been an issue for them :nerd: needless to say, I gave up after finding that out because #enoughinternetfortheday

lol Anyway, spray painting is probably your best option. I would go with high temperature enamel paint ! A couple coats and it'll look nice again
