So, can anyone tell me if a Vagabond Fender Eliminator is legal in Australia? Everything I can find on the government websites and Facebook pages regarding it is just confusing me.

Just slap one on, the cops will soon let you know if its wrong.
It can't be a hanging offence.HaHa.

No they are far from legal, your state govt website explains it,
any cop can give you a defect notice or fine.

Thanks for the tip, Tal. :p

Aufitt, thanks for that. After some digging, I found some more info on it. Apparently they are legal but have to be done according to very specific standards so I think, unfortunately, I will just be leaving it with the stock fender.

I recently installed the Vagabond fender eliminator kit and it looks 100% better than the stock fender.

If you're willing to to go ahead and install it, I would just recommend you use the OEM lights from the stock fender. When mounted the lights are well spaced and extremely visible, and the whole set-up looks like it could be stock. The only way you get stopped is if there is a specific width and depth your plate and turn signals have to be from the brake light
