Welcome! The R3 is a fun little bike. Cheaper to insure than bigger bikes, but more importantly was much more fun through the twisties and track (actually I cant speak for the track on the bigger bikes, as I never took my ZX6R or N650 to the track)
Welcome! The R3 is a fun little bike. Cheaper to insure than bigger bikes, but more importantly was much more fun through the twisties and track (actually I cant speak for the track on the bigger bikes, as I never took my ZX6R or N650 to the track)Hey guys.
I decided to join this forum because I may purchase an R3 in the near future.
My current bike is a 2012 Honda CBR1000RR. I was thinking it needs a little brother.
My buddy just got an FZ-07 and loves it. I can't wait to give it a spin, it seems like the perfect medium between around town comfort but enough power to really get going if need be. Only downside is that insurance rates for the FZ-07 are super high despite it being a tame bike. Affordability + good bike for new riders = lots of wrecked FZs, so higher rates, hahaI don't do the track thing, which is why I am interested in the R3. Power is nice, but sometimes you just want to bomb around town on a more practical bike. If not the R3, I may get an FZ-07. It depends on the deal.
