Did my first oil change. Initial cost was an arm and a leg, had to buy a rear stand and spools along with filter, oil and crush washers, but worth it in the long run.
What prompted the manual labor? Oil looked like black paint in the viewport. Thought to myself that couldn't be a good thing. After finding the right access points the job was a breeze. Oil was actually in much better condition than I thought as it came out a nice honey color. Oh well, at least I learned it takes 30 minutes to change the oil and costs less than $60.
Tomorrow, off to the local cycle center to see about purchasing a new fairing. Either part 1 or 3, won't know until they take a look. Guess the ol' biddy that backed into me did more than 'nudge' the bike
