How can you possibly miss a motorcycle while parking( even covered ). I guess alcohol is a bitch. I hope it'll all go well with the process. Always sucks when others ruin your stuff

wtf!?...

This is just one of the reasons why I never bought a motorcycle living in apartments or shared parking structures.

You need to follow up on what happened. Like, did you ever see the truck driver?

You know, you think about this crap happening everytime we park our bikes. So glad I have a garage. But out at the mall or the shopping center I worry eveytime I park it. There is nothing to stop someone from just pushing the bike over or backing into it.

Sorry, hope it's fixed quick. I hate to even say this because you did nothing to deserve this, but is your cover black/ dark gray? I would get a brighter color for your next cover, don't give the offender's insurance company any reasons to fault you.

I mean that the nicest way friend, not passing judgment. You did nothing to deserve that crap.

Well, Thanks for everyone good wishes!

My bad luck continues when the cop that came in the morning was new and he did not know that he could have town the truck. Now, they are looking the truck because the cop and I never seen the driver. There are been cops driving around the complex where I live trying to find it. At least, we know the plate number and what type of truck it is. And based on what the cop told me, the truck is under a lady. That is what I know until now. I will keep updating.

Thanks!

In the Netherlands we have a line for that:

"Vrouwen aan het stuur bloed aan de muur".
"Woman behind the wheel, blood on the wall".

They should lock up persons that cause dammage without a note with personal information or such. Last week some idiot hitted my fathers car (Merc. CLS AMG), over ?1500,- repair costs and still no suspect.

For bad luck comes good luck mate. They will find that bitch and you'll get a new bike.

That's too funny! However, I won't let my wife hear me say that.
My wife and I plan on taking a trip to the Netherlands in the near future. Our friends who have vacationed there say it's just beautiful!
I love trains as well as motorcycles and I watch the Mierlo-Hout Crossing Railcams all the time.

You see a ton of scooters running around on those webcams.

RobertNL, do you live anywhere near Helmond?

This is a cool video: "Holland vs the Netherlands"

Unfortunately, a lot of people are dumb as a bag of rocks when it comes to geography.

Sorry. I was once parked next to a truck. Instead of parking all the way forward I was back a little. Apparently as he backed out he turned his steering wheel a lot and his front bumper caught my bike and dragged it backward. It never fell over, but still did $1600 in damages. People also back into parking places without looking well too, so there is no safe place to park. That driver never stayed around.

That bike looks totaled to me.

@Timbo64 Good to hear people like the Netherlands. For motorcycles, the Netherlands is good to travel (through). As all dutchmen speak English, it's easy to get on vacation. If i'd go on a travel holiday with the bike, I personally would go south-west (Limburg, only hills in the NL) or even north-west. I live 150km's away from Helmond and to be honest, North- and Southholland is so over populated that all the forest has been ruined to make room for the beauty of citylife. One small note, dó watch your speedometer because the government loves to steal your pennies when you are doing 56 km/h on a 50way :(
