I was just curious if anyone has tried replacing the stock front break reservoir for a round one like what comes on 600's. If you have, care to post pictures and maybe give some instructions if anything special need to be done.

The brake res and master cylinder are one piece. If you wanted a round res you would need a different MC.
You will need a whole new upper MC set up from another bike or buy one brand new.....if you want that round res so bad.

The master should be matched in size to the caliper or you will get some wonky feel at the lever. Some sport bike masters are pushing 12 pistons and the R3 is only pushing 2. Don't be surprised if it doesn't work as well if you swap in a different master.
I put a Honda RC-51 m/c and SS line on my track ninja 2-fitty with stock caliper and pads, and it was like night and day difference. I would definitely do it again.
