Grabbed a Carbon GP. Reasonable price shipped express. 3 days to my door from Italy from a different seller. Just wanted a slip on this time. I have a limit for accessories for this bike that does not include a full exhaust and fuel controller. I contacted them and they said it includes the branded steel cosmetic cover plate that covers the cat attachment point.

Thanks for the heads up.

That one looks and sounds good and is street legal, too.

Let us know what you think of it....

Its just what I was hoping for. 5% louder, deeper sound, and a nice little performance boost. I expected it to be the same or worse but there is undoubtedly a performance gain. Feels great. Right on par with what other slip on owners are reporting. Minimal changes but still nice.

I was sad I did not go all the way for a full system but after logging some freeway time I dont think I could take the drone of a louder exhaust.

Nice that I can keep all my emissions garbage in place and remain street legal, although we never get checked or cited unless you are off road. Thats the only place I have ever seen an exhaust inspection. At state beaches and off road parks.

Was on my door from Naples Italy in less than 72 hours from ordering.

One minus is the db silencer is riveted in and has to be drilled out to be removed.

Seems to be running good. No pops or crackles on down shifts.

Here a few looks.

10 minutes, easy install

selling mine if u want a mint one cheap. Going for a full exhaust. Not a scratch or mark on it.

If you are in EU, the guy on ebay has them for $330 brand new shipped from Italy.

Thanks. I'm from EU. I'm still not sure if it's worth buying the akrapovic carbon for the R3 - or going for this a bit cheaper model. Do you have any experience with akrapovic?

I didnt buy that one because it does not have a cosmetic cover at the cat. I did not want to see the slip on connect to the cat. Looks weak. Only two exhausts that had cosmetic shield was Yoshi and Mivv. I dont buy Yoshimura products. I have seen multiple instances of friends with sub par builds. I bought this so I would not have to do all the other things involved with tuning. Its perfect for that. Now I am on a mission to shave weight, the cat has to go. Keep in mind this is 90% cosmetic after the cat. The difference in slip ons is almost visual preference. They are going to perform and sounds close to each other.

Alright. I don't prefer the yoshimura either. But Mivv seems to making some pretty nice products. I just haven't heard them in real life. I like the Sueno a lot though. Even better than the GP.
On build quality you wont be disappointed. Its very high quality. Certainly a better value for the same materials.
