FZ-07 tailight compatible with our bikes?
So I came across this and it says it fits the R3 too. So is it safe to assume that buying a taillight that fits the fz07 will work for the R3?http://japan.webike.net/products/21868966.html

Good to know, I was curious about this as well.
It makes sense too to make this universal to select models, thins out production cost on an area that doesn't matter nearly as much as others.

Technically, it isn't the same.
They look identical from the outside, but there are some electronic differences. Also their part numbers are different.
I own both the FZ07 and the R3. I had a brakelight modulator plug and play chip for the FZ07, replaced it with a tailllight assembly, kept the old chip just in case. Bought the wife's R3. Installed the chip on the R3 (connects to the tail light wire). It doesn't work.
But for the case of this topic, that doesn't matter since it has nothing to do with a brake light modulator chip. But just wanted to point out they aren't 100% identical.
