I have not personally used it, but here is some additional info you may want to know:

The product is only as good as the cell coverage is, in your area.the device may not be able to transmit in the confines of a van, and that a thief can simply disconnect the device. The Core is not a 100% fool-proof way to protect you from getting your stolen bike recovered, but that is the case with all security products.

Check out Kryptonite if you are purchasing Scorpio. Best protection is theft protection on insurance.

Good luck!

I'm planning on fitting my new bike with the Scorpio R3 GPS tracker. Read a few good review about it. Anyone used it and have feedback on how it works?
Wow, they still do charge a 350 buck for installation of a simple gps tracker? And I suppose these device even are not compatible with a third party reporting applications on a custom devices, like smartphone, Ipad and laptop at the same time...

I have no experience with Scorpio, I only have a spytec tracker. I put it in a secret place, it's great and works on both GPS and cellular networks. I can check the app it offers from time to time to ensure peace of mind. And, if it is stolen, I can track it to the exact location.
