Hi everyone my name is Alex and I'm a new member here. I'm a new rider with just about 2 months under my belt on the 2015 Yamaha R3. Growing up I have always wanted a motorcycle and was finally able to achieve my dreams this year. So far I have done a few modifications and have many more planned in the near future. I'm located in the Bay Area if anyone is ever down for a ride. Thanks for taking the time to read this and happy riding!

That full exhaust looks excellent! Welcome to the forum.
Welcome mate! Where u from? The M4 is sexy
Thanks guys! In my opinion the M4 full exhaust was the way to go not only in looks but in performance as well. Combined with my power commander and tune I gained almost 5hp. You definitely feel the difference when riding. I'm from Northern California, Walnut Creek area if you're familiar with it.
I was going to go for the Street Slayer version but I like how the full system uses the passenger hangar and looks more stock. People reporting flame shooting out the slayer and I cant have that where I am at. Fires are common here in North Los Angeles County and a flame shooting out the exhaust will get me the wrong kind of attention. I suppose with a power commander and map its less likely but I think I might get the same as you.
The difference was only around $100 in terms of slip on vs full so I went for it. 100% satisfied with the end results.
I would definitely go for it for $100. I do like how the yosh full exhaust is polished but the titanium looks great too.

How are the levers treating you compared to the stock? Do they feel good?
I really enjoy the new levers. They match the blue on my bike very well and are fully adjustable. The stock levers for me were too long and too far out from the handle bar. Being able to adjust all that was really nice. Great mod for under $70 :)
Looks great, Alex! I'm in Pacifica just outside of SF. I've got a red one, so we'd make a good display.

What made you choose the M4 over the Yoshimura? Any chance you tried the full exhaust without the Power Commander? Any problems with backfires? I'm hesitant to plunk down an extra $400 or so if it's not necessary.

I have not yet personally heard the Yoshi full exhaust but from my understanding the M4 gives you higher gains. They are both about the same price but I wanted to stand out from all the other riders who ride with Yoshi pipes. You can run a full exhaust without the Power Commander but I wouldn't recommend it. So far I have not had any problems and am completely happy with Mr Spears and Spears racing. They do an amazing job.

I love those levers, where did you get them? i was thinking about getting the cheap $20 china ones on ebay but they seem to get "mixed" reviews and yours seem perfect!
If you're doing mods, why would you not start with the tail? GET RID OF IT!

I wanted to get the more expensive mods out of the way first. A fender eliminator is next :)

Welcome to the Forum, good to see more Bay Area people on here!
I'm originally from SF. We have a lot of great roads out there like Mt Tamalpias, the PCH, HWY 35 to Santa Cruz and HWY1. Then you have Mt. Diablo and the back roads Marsh Creek and Morgan Territory Rd. around you. I used to do Grizzly Peak pretty often in my car.
Welcome.

I have M4 on both my YZF-R1 and my YZF-R6. ;)
I just ordered a Vagabond Fender Eliminator Kit. Can't wait to have it installed!
Enjoy guys!
Integrated Tail install coming tomorrow
