I own a FZ07 and my wife is looking to buy a motorcycle basically starting now.

Its highly likely she wants the R3 mainly because of the gear indicator (heh) but also she insists she doesn't need anything above 300cc. As soon as they hit the dealers she'll be placing her butt on the seat to see how it feels.

Is your wife considering anything other than the R3?

I think the R3 is a great bike for people who don't need something super powerful. Its still fun, but not over the top.

Hey thanks for the welcome guys.

She sat on a ninja and cbr 300. She was veering towards the cbr. My brother in law works at a Yamaha dealership so a good discount will probably clinch it for her.

She rides passenger on my FZ07 every now and then and she definitely has no thrill for speed if I go fast so 300 cc would probably be a good fit for her. Her previous riding experience is dirt bikes.

that's some great experience she has had their.
