Hey, got a Yamaha r3 this past August. Only use it for fun, but am up to 3600 miles so far. Just ordered a power commander, m4 Street slayer, and a fender eliminator. Other than that, I did go down two teeth on the rear sprocket to lengthen the first gear and make my speedometer more accurate. It is now almost dead on. Anyway, I really am enjoying it so far. I have had lots of bikes, but wanted a fun, reliable, small affordable sportbike as my other bikes have been used and I have had some bad luck with some of them over the years.

AWESOME. Thanks for posting this.
This is exactly what I was thinking about doing to my R3! 1st and 2nd gears are really low. I am just rowing through the gears as fast as I can everytime I take-off from a stop. I'm going to order a rear sprocket!
