Helmet Mounted Camera

Hello everyone.

I just bought a GoPro and was hoping to mount it to my helmet. Some people have recently told me that here in Ontario, it may be illegal to mount it to my helmet.

Anyone have any more info on that? Maybe a link to a general area of where the law may be found.

Thanks.

I haven't heard of that. I know there are a few YouTube Motovloggers in Ontario I would be surprised if that's the case.

Canada's Motorcycle sells the Sena 10C, which is supposed to be mounted to your helmet and it doesn't have any legal warnings.

6foot4honda lives in Ontario and has never mentioned it. Fight the personal safety side of things you should be fine. I've got one mounted to my helmet (Granted I live in Michigan)
I didn't think I would be an issue, just wanted to see if anyone has had a problem. The law says the helmet should have a hard smooth exterior shell. With the camera mounted, it still has that, just with something else attached.

I actually just started watching some of 6foot4honda's videos last night, got excited when I saw the Ontario license plates.
