Hmm, I'm trying to think of an R3 thread that WON'T get moved to another board.

What can I write or ask about?

Hey, show us your cool mods... no! Wait... um, hey I'm having problems...noooo... uh... any new riderrsss.....wait, wait, hold on. Let me think.

I know! My engin...no. What exhau.. uh. How much did you buy...nope. Lights? I know.. .gear, what gear do you wear...ugh.

Hay guys, I have an idea! What is your R3's favorite color! AWWWRIGHT! Everyone, let's all ask our R3 what its favorite color is! There is no board specific to that, is there? No! Awww yeah! I found a new topic that I can safely make without getting it moved!

By the way. Puce. That's right. Puce.

I remember the first time I heard the color puce. It was in an old Santa Claus movie.
This forum is the blind leading the blind,

If it ever improves
I'll do a build thread with info ppl may want instead of mind numbing anodised turds.
There really are to many sub forums. It needs to be simplified a bit.

Wait for the "moved to off-topic discussion" response :D
I'm guilty of thread moving, so flame away!!

There are a lot of sub-forums and I agree that some are redundant, but I'm trying to work with what it is. Reposts in various threads of information already covered somewhere else sometimes get merged. Posts in General or Introductions that relate to Tires or Meets and Events, for example, will likely get moved.

Yep, Puce is the French word for flea & the color comes from their blood-stained droppings.

What self-respecting R3 would choose that as its favorite color?

Haha, sorry, I just found it funny everytime I see a particular topic and think to myself: That's going to be moved.

Well, its not my R3, so maybe its messing with me. Or maybe it doesn't respect itself after getting dropped so many times by my wife.

I'm sure it's just a temporary issue with its self esteem, then.

I don't blame you for doing your job. :) I just wish they didn't have such a plethora of sub forums.

Of course, I just use the new posts or active topics tab at the top. The only time it becomes a problem is where to figure out where to post a new thread.
yea it's a little bit tough to navigate especially if it is on mobile device because too many subforums

here's what I think it might help out

intro/check in/meet should cover the same forum
ladies' forum can be a thread under general/check in
new rider/safety/gear/insurance can be combined down to the same subforum, hopefully that increase the awareness of the new riders getting appropriate gear to start too
media are just one subforum/thread

the tech talk stuff leave that to the tech people to offer suggestion, i'm just a noob here :D
Umm, shouldn't this thread be moved to....
LOL.
I couldn't resist.

... and you would probably be right. In most cases, posts in General Discussion are the biggest culprit/target of my focus. There are about 39 pages in General already. To me, it really does make sense to move discussions specific to a sub-forum (Tires, Exhaust, etc.) to that sub-forum, otherwise you'd have to wade through 50+ pages to find that thread if it stayed in General.

No matter where a thread or post is posted, it'll show up in Active or New - which is where I generally go first anyway.
