Hey there.

Just picked up a 2015 R3.

Going to be my streetbike. After owning larger bikes...and realizing that I was paying waaaay to much money to have a bike I couldn't use to its potential.

So the R3 is cheap, flickable, fun, and all the other bits for it are cheap.

I have a bit of a thing for little bikes.

I did a weekend test (as a control rider) on a RC390, R3, Ninjette, CBR300, CBR500, ER6, GW250.

And the R3 reminded me of my old RD350LC. Fantastic little bike.

Looking forward to having some more fun with it.

Welcome from England.
Welcome!!

Being able to test ride that stable in one day is awesome. Post up your head to head impressions if you don't mind (here): http://www.r3-forums.com/forum/497-yamaha-yzf-r3-versus-competition/

I had a 250LC in 1980 and the R3 reminds me of that.
