Using a Quadlock Fork Steam Pro Mount on my Yamaha R7...I wanted the same, at the same place for my daughter's R3...And no way to have the ram ball mount.
So if it can give some ideas, here is my solution:
Drill and make threads in the original bolt to fix the modified Quadlock !!

Nicely done. Did you do that on a lathe, a drill press, or are you just really comfortable with a cordless drill?

Made with a cordless drill. The angle is not perfect but correct for installation. If the drill would have had a level bubble, I imagine the result would be better.

What size drill/ tap? I ended up snapping the tap in the bolt….. weird -was oiling too….

For the tap, a friend gave me the stock. The hole was made with a drill, but for the tap he recommended me to do it by hand so as not to break it. Use oil at all times. The dril is a simple Dewalt 20volts. Here is what I used:

But there is thread on both sides of the ignition switch?

When you know the Fork Steam PRO month with vibration damper from Quadlock...you do the right thing.

I generally like to have very low-profile phone cases. Can you take a pic of the case itself? It looks like the attachment method would require some additional thickness to interface with the handlebar piece. Thanks

It's a slim design (here for a Iphone 11)
