You going to try the optional increased silencer they sell directly?
Yup! Already ordered. You going to try the optional increased silencer they sell directly?
Awesome. Subbed for updates. I like what i hear of the M4 on YouTube, but the consensus does seem to be that's its pretty **** loud.Yup! Already ordered.
Honestly, not really. Maybe a little. I wasn't expecting much in performance. I did wrap some tinfoil around the db killer and poked smaller holes into it. It did help kill some of the noise and still ran great. I actually have high hopes for the new silencer.Yes! I hope that extra silencer does the trick! That system is so sexy *_* Have you noticed any difference in performance with the exhaust?? I might be getting mine within a few months hah
I ran into the same issue, everywhere you go people talk about the additional quiet insert but it's almost impossible to find someone who sells it. I ended up getting it from here http://www.yamahar3racing.com/product/m4-street-slayer-carbon-fiber-slip-on-exhaust-yamaha-r3-2015/ but he emailed me and said that he's having it shipped directly from M4. JBluetooth is active on the forums you could ask him if he ships to Europe or email M4 directly.Where can you order the Stage 2 part # Q4 insert? I can't seem to find anyone who sells it. (Preferably someone who ships to Europe)
Ok, I will ask him and look some more. Please give us an update on how the sound changes as soon as you have gotten itI ran into the same issue, everywhere you go people talk about the additional quiet insert but it's almost impossible to find someone who sells it. You can, but it won't be any cheaper.I thought you could buy it directly from M4. http://www.m4exhaust.com/products/yamaha-r3-2015-SLAYER.htm

I see that they list it as sold separately, but i don't see any option of actually going trough with the action of buying it...You can, but it won't be any cheaper.

It does require cutting the stock exhaust..so maybe? Not sure on that one tbh, but it is more than a "slip-on" compared to others that don't require cutting. Will installing the M4 slip on void the warranty?
Nice!! I will be in the Seattle area this summer, we should ride!I have the M4 SS also, Love it. I DD my bike 50 miles a day, noise can be a bit much but in Seattle drivers are terrible and are always on their phones while driving. So I figured there was an upside to it to catch attention. Although I did get pulled over yesterday with a motorcycle cop following me on the carpool lane. I guess I shot a 2ft flame while letting off the throttle. He ran my registration and saw it was a 300cc and his jaw drop to the ground followed by a huge grin. Told me "You couldnt even get yourself into trouble on this bike even if you tried!" we both laugh and he let me on my way. Made my day knowing not all cops are D***S, If i were in my car though, Different story haha
This is why I didn't try to make a video of the Tyga, even though posters were asking. At best, I could make a misleading video. You need a dB meter, a good mic, and tools to properly normalize the audio levels for comparison. Another way is to record audio from like 50-300' away (trick used in horn comparison videos). The videos do not accurately portray the sound.
