I am looking at the R3 for track riding. I like the bike, only drawback is no slipper clutch, does anyone know of one for it?

I know it will really be nice to have on track.

I do not believe one exists for the R3. Don't let that turn you off to the R3 as a track bike, though. Your left hand is the best slipper clutch money can buy. I've been racing a ninja 250 for years with no slipper clutch with no problems. You just need to focus on really feathering out that last downshift on corner entry.

If you ever get a chance, go to the Yamaha Champions Riding School or hook up with Ken Hill Coaching...they do some great drills on this. It's a good skill to have even if you do have a slipper clutch.

Good point, as I used to race dirt bikes, and no slipper clutch there. I think it'll be good, thanks for the tip on the school.
