I have not ridden a bike in over 12 years, my experience was on dirt bikes, so I am also new to the streets...but planning to take the MSF course which should help.Welcome... having a hard time containing myself as well being a newb to street riding.
Plan is to start on the R3, learn proper technique and move my way up to the litre bikes in a few years...exciting times!
I used to race cars for fun when I was a kid, got that need for speed again

Same tactics here, starting on a R3 and move my way up.
