Seat is fine I guess, making it a tad taller wouldn't hurt, but that being said, you're right about the clip ons and rearsets. Im already drooling in all the mods I'll do to this little baby. Would make an awsome little track bike for beginner riders like me.seats fine for the size of the bike. real clip-ons that lower the bars and rearsets that move the pegs up and back would do the trick. woodcraft and Driven will handle both those in short order.
Yea, instead of clip ons that go under it'll probably have clip ons that go an inch and a half forward/inch lower than the original handle bars like this ninja here. So you'll still get that more agressive riding position. Its still not like a real supersport but its a pretty cool mod to have.I don't know if R3 will take traditional below the yoke clip on's. From the pics it seems like there is not enough clearance from the fairing..

something like this is what I'm thinking may fit above the yoke.@Vaughan @YR3
Those are woodcraft clip ons.
If you really want to go down low here's a clip on without risers: http://www.revzilla.com/product/woodcraft-clip-ons
.
Heh, and here I am trying to lower the seat height so I can get into a lower tuck.I have heard NOTHING but good things about these...
raises the stock seat 1.5"... Puts it in R-6 seat height territory...
I will be getting one next year...
They also do custom colors and materials...
