Over the past week or so i've been in contact with layz motor in regards to the projector kit they have advertised on their website http://layz-motor.com/product/body-kit/yamaha-r-25/projector-drl-yamaha-r25/ and have now been informed they do ship to the uk (i would also assume USA also but im british) and that for $310 (not including postage) they will send you a brand new headlight assembly with projectors prefitted with the colours of your choice and 2 switches (i assume projector and devil eyes)

This is mainly for those of you who like myself are interested in the projectors a lot of thai bikes have but don't want to install it yourself or ruin your existing headlight assembly as this would mean you have 2 one stock and one projector

i am in process of emailing them aswell lol for a set in australia but lol
cost is pretty cheap
I just emailed them, I have a Raven R3, hoping to get the red eyes with white DRL! What do you all think the best color choice is? Maybe purple projector? Too many color combinations lol.

I kind of like the red and yellow combo. Looks sort of like a DEMON!
Picking up a carbon rear hugger from them and doing my own bi-xenon retrofits, no HALOs for me:p
I know this is a late reply but will these work on an r3? May sound like a stupid question but I need to be sure. I clicked the link and not only is it in another language but it clearly says r25. Thanks for any help.

Yes Almost all r25 parts are identical to fit the r3
Did anyone get a set of these? I snapped the mounts off my headlight housing so now I need to get a new one and was considering these as well as these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Angel-eyes-...ffType=OrderSubTotalOffer&_trksid=p5731.m3795

Any opinions on these options? I like how they look but I'm trying to decide if an extra hundred bucks would be worth the upgrade.

Go for it, it beats retrofitting your own system, good thing the labor and parts are cheap over there. If you end up not liking them I'll take them off your hands.
Has anyone tried to purchase from Layz motors? and how?

tried email and facebook and no reply, looking for their Bodi Balap. (Race fairings)
I got a response by using the Contact Us form on their website.

The price I got for a headlight assembly shipped to the US is about $530. I'm asking for more details now.
I bought a headlight assembly from Layz Motor. I talked with Steven and he spoke good english and made the process easy. He asked me what color options I wanted, we decided on a price, I pay through a paypal work order, and he ships it. Took only about 1-2 weeks to arrive and they look fantastic.

Well now we need details and pics!

How did they wire up to the bike and did they include hi/low beams?

I had a friend of mine who works on bikes for a living to install it for me. From what I heard it was pretty easy. Steven sends you a chart of how the wiring goes and yes there is a high and low beam. I don't have any pics, but they're HID's with white halo's, and red demon eyes. It always catches peoples eye.

Thanks for the reply!

So there's one thing that's confusing me and hopefully you can clear it up. When the bike comes on, the low beam, angel eye and demon eye all light up? Then if you hit the bright switch the high beams come on?

I'm confused about the visibility of the demon eye with the low beam on, it seems like the light of the headlight would wash out the demon eye light.

You can contact Layz Motor in their mobile phone +62 89998730024 via SMS or call or Whatsapp. I'm Indonesian and visited them a few times shopping for my R25. Recommended speed shop with competitive price

Got the order put in for a set of these headlights. Total with shipping to the US was about $500. Steep price but I didn't want to pay about $250 for the stock ones. If you want to go this route just keep in mind that patience will likely be needed. We had a lot of going back and forth on the details and with Layz being half way around the world it just took some time.

That being said here's some more info that might might the process easier for anyone else wanting to order.
-This includes the outline light bar referred to as Daytime Running Light (DRL). You may be able to choose a color for this and I say that based on pictures from Layz website. I just asked for white though so I could be wrong.
-You will have color options for two halos, front and rear.
-You will have the color option for the demon eye.
-You will have a color option for the triangle/auxiliary light.

I was informed that these use 6K HID bulbs.

Here are some assumptions I've currently made that I will clear up once the headlights have arrived:

-I hadn't gotten confirmation that the projectors are bixenon from Layz but based on Golem's comment above, I believe they are. Let me share some info: bixenon is a fancy way of saying the projector has hi/low beams via a shroud/shade that cuts off the light as a low beam and pulls back to allow all light as a high beam. I personally think the term bixenon is confusing and misleading and that it's a shame this is the term used to describe a single projector that has both high and low beams. Maybe there's a reason, I dunno. All I know is that I spent way too much time researching this **** before I had only partial answers.
-A switch will need to be added. This will turn the headlights themselves on and off. When off the DRL, both halos, and the demon eye will be lit. Flip this switch and your headlights come on and probably drown out the rear halo and demon eye.
-I don't know if the HID kit is 35W or 55W.
-That the reflectors in the housing are blacked out.

I hope this information is helpful to someone. I'll make another post with more information once the headlights arrive and I work to get them installed. Feel free to straighten me out if I'm wrong about something and if anyone has questions, then ask away and I'll do my best or defer to more knowledgeable forum members.

And to wrap this up, Steven at Layz sent me pics of my headlights prior to shipping. I chose white DRL, auxiliary light, front halo, and red for demon eye and rear halo.

Do you have anymore photos of your install? Does anyone have any info on how long this last or burn out? Any where to get replacement bulbs?
