As a tall guy who only rides on the streets, I found the stock footpegs to be too high up. I remedied this by installing lowering brackets (advertised as rearset risers). Some modification is required. I had to drill out the threads on the brackets where the bolts mount the bracket to the frame. I also had to space out the bolts on the shifter-side rearset by using some washers so that the rearset will sit flush against the bracket. (Also, I did this on the ABS version.)
