Did you get their plates or anything? Their insurance would definitely pay for that.

Had the same thing happen to me after that great freezing rain we had.
Wife freaked, saw bunch of ice flying our way, thankfully no damage.
I can only imagine how highways looked and how much damage those created.

2 weeks ago roughly I did took it out for one day.
But then the weather got bad again, tomorrow is supposedly nice and then back again to the cold
