So I was cruising around looking for oem parts, because there's nothing better to do on Friday night and came to see that there are three different models. YZFR3(FB,FL and FR).
The question is: where do I look to see which one I have? Or are they all the same? I'd assume one is Asian, European and North American, but, I've been known to be wrong.
According to my insurance agent's computer, U.S. models are the YZFR3L. That's the only designation that he had for R3's and that's what it says on my proof of insurance card.
Actually, I was just going though my stuff and found they listed it as a yzfr3(fr) on my set-up and delivery check list. Interesting. Not sure what to believe. Guess a call to Yamaha them selves is in order
Does the "F" in FL, FB, FR mean the model year? Another sight lists Yamaha's model designations, and the letter "F" is for 2015.
