I check the Yamaha site every day... don't ask me why...

Today I noticed this little beauty!

Is this just a decal thing or is there more to this limited edition?

Without analyzing it too much, I can see that the rear shock and front brake calipers are a gold colour.

The best thing about it is that the side fairings are the same color as the rest of the bikes color! I've been trying to get the side fairings from other countries already but Yamaha won't sell them to anyone unless they have the gp edition vin number...

I spoke to my local dealer and they said they're due next week and that it's just a decal/paint change - no performance upgrades sadly.

Some more images from a local dealer. The dealer has fitted a rear seat cowl in the third photo - this is not standard.

I think it is just cosmetic and not some mechanically better model.

Seen these graphics before, don't think it was limited to just Australia. Curious to see if the decal set if available for purchase.

They're not exclusive in AUS, but they are limited. Over here in the PH, it's kinda hard to find one nowadays..

Movistar R4

This is my 15 month old R3, thanks to
"Jesse Norton"
it has been tricked and went through a heavy weight reduction diet.
