Oh dear God I'm glad you're ok. That bike is tough, it looks fantastic for smashing into the side of a car at 55. It's why I always ride with my high beams on, I don't care how many people flash their lights at me. I'll wave as they pass!

whoa! I'm glad you're ok enough to post, hope you heal up ok!
Get well buddy!
That was a bad one!

Hope you get out of the ICU soon and recover quickly....
Thanks guys, i have broken right femur and my right arm was broken twice with nerve damage and some how my sack got cut open. The crazy part is that i had a boat propeller in my backpack but it didnt hurt me. I did have some internal bleeding. My gear saved my life.

That hurt just reading it.........

They must have you on some pretty good drugs for the pain if you're able to post.

Once again, ATGATT proves its worth as perhaps the single best piece of advice for safety on the streets.

For the new riders reading this, ATGATT means All The Gear All The Time

I absolutely do not mean to make light of what happened but thought you could use a laugh right about now as a distraction:
So here goes:

1.) I hope you had the doctors do a vasectomy before they sewed up your sack; it'll save you a lot of grief and $$ down the road.
2.) You may need to change your Forum name to Black & Blue Balls.

How far was the car turning on you?

What is sack you refer to?
black and blue balls would fit me perfectly, at least i still have 2 haha I wish i thought of being snipped, im only 23 but do want too be snipped to never have to worry. I told my friends that dont wear any proper gear that my injuries are what they are because of it and they still arent buying any....i wont be riding with them again unless they do it, their ignorance is killing me. the crash happnd thurs evening but plenty of drugs have helped haha.

The worst kind of sack to slice open in a crash. The testicles :(:crying:

Hahaha. You must be a father.

Here is my experience so far:

0 months-6 months. Nothing. They might as well be hamsters.
6 months - 2 years old. Loves of my life.
2-4 years old. Little turds, but still lovable.
4-6 year old. They boggle your mind.
6-9 years old. Little pieces of **** with a dusting of "you love em". They still boggle your mind at how stupid they are.

I'm scared of how things are after that.

First....Blueballs, this is awful news and I hope you get better soon. Broken femur may take a long time to heal. Seriously...! (about your friends), yeah man I won't even ride with some of my friends that drink, don't wear proper gear, or anything else stupid. Simply because I don't want to have to pick them up from the side of the road.

Fang: man I laughed my @$$ off when I read this. I'm hoping it gave blueballs a good laugh too! One can laugh, even while in great pain :)

Ow.. Bad injuries man, with a fall likely your muscle needs a retrain too

How did the sack got opened?

You should be safe for another 3-4 years. I'll only add one warning. Generally, at around age 13 they go from thinking you know everything, are awesome and they love to go places and do things with you, to thinking you don't know S#!*, are idiots and they're embarrassed to be seen in public with you. As in "Dad, just drop me off at the corner so my friends don't see you". I think it's the hormonal changes as well as them starting to develop into independent individuals.

Middle School is the worst period. Just ask any Middle School teacher...

They do come back to an approximation of their pre-13 state around 20-22 and it gets better from then on, typically. That's when many become your real friends as well as your children. Something to look forward to.

Yeah, I saw a group of Squids on 600s and Liter bikes doing wheelies through a busy intersection yesterday, wearing tank tops and shorts. Now that's just asking for it.

I guess they still think they're indestructible.

Hey, sorry to hear about your accident. Glad to hear you survived. Thanks for posting as it will help all of us remember riding is very dangerous doesn't matter how good you are.

Heal well.
Thanks for all the support guys its helping the recovery. IDK how it got sliced but it was better being the sack then the shaft. I know i won't be riding for a while but i plan to get back on the saddle. I will be refusing to ride with any gearless person after this. i spent a grand on gear and it payed off from the police to the doctors they can't believe my injuries. i was thrown after we hit but idk full details yet.
