Hi guys,

Haven't really had much chance to ride the bike since I got it...wrong time of year and the great British weather! I spent the winter months getting the R3 to how I wanted it. Had the first ride of the year this week and got some photos.

Mods so far...

Puig Dark Tint Race Screen
V-Trec Adjustable Safety Levers
Area 22 Rear-sets
Puig Tail Tidy
Scorpion End Can
Powerbronze Hugger
Oxford Mini Indicators
Evo-Tech Rad & Downpipe Grills
Rear Seat Cowl
Evo-Tech Exhaust Hanger & Blanking Plate
USB Mount

When I started to research the R3 I came across a lot of R25 photos and really liked one particular scheme....here's my version of it

Looking good Phil.

Cheers, hoping it'll be a bit different to other bikes around here. Always liked race replicas and think it suits the bike well

Thanks for taking all these pics! Where did you get the Area 22 Rear sets, Powerbronze rear hugger and Puig Tail Tidy? For the Tail Tidy pics, is your plate really that big and square? Was just wondering if it would fit our North American plates. Is it adjustable and will it fit multiple plate sizes?
No problem :)

The rearsets came from ebay, there's more that look the same but cheaper, the stock ones look cheap and mismatched to me, they had to go!

The hugger was ordered direct from Powerbronze UK. Think it looks good but functionality is rubbish, you need to remove the small plastic part in front of the shock, so that gets covered in whatever is thrown at it, that's why I got the shock tube. I've also modded the part I took off so it could be re-fitted.

Tail-tidy came from BS-Motoparts in Germany, plates over here should be 9"x7", mine is 8"x6" and still looks massive! You can adjust the width for the indicators, and the reflector at the bottom is also adjustable.

Hope that helps!
Great post !! The bike looks fantastic :) well done !

Hey thanks for the heads up on BS-Motoparts - they have a nice blue rear hugger that I'm going to order!

Last question about the tail tidy as it doesn't say on the site - will it accomodate the OEM turnsignals? I see that its adjustable too for angle which is perfect for what I want.

Had really great service from them the few times I've used them. Unfortunately the tail tidy doesn't support the OEM indicators, I only found this out when I received the item, luckily I was going to change them anyway.
That rear hugger looks real good...
